This Scandinavian art glass cake platter was designed in the 1970s by Ann and Göran Wärff of Sweden. The thick handmade glass was pressed into a mould, giving the textured underside an embossed leaf pattern. The top serving surface is smooth and the outer rim is an organic, free-form shape. The top is flat with no raised edges, so it is easy for slicing and serving a variety of foods. The platter measures 32 cm. (12-5/8 in.) diameter and 7.6 cm. (3 in.) high. This pedestal platter is in excellent condition, with no cracks, chips, stains, or signs of wear. Comes in original box which has some minor scuffs. Smoke-free pet-free home.
