Blue Swirl Hand-Thrown Ceramic Round Platter Serving Dish - Signed This is a very nice and unusual ceramic dish. It is hand made and looks almost like two plates were combined to make one. The outer plate is crimped to the upper for a pie-crust like effect. I don't believe this is a pie plate as it's rather shallow. The plate is signed on the back by the artist. It looks like a Japanese symbol but I could be wrong. The plate has no chips, scratches or crazing. It is just shy of 10 inches in diameter and quite heavy.
