Product Description Comprehensive set for the removal and installation of front hub bearings No dismantle of steering assembly needed Heavy duty steel drifts Drift Size: 2-3/16", 2-11/32", 2-7/16", 2-9/16, 2-19/32", 2-13/16", 2-7/8", 3-3/32", 3-5/16", 3". 3-13/32" and 3-19/32" Hub Screws: (3) M12x11.5, (3) M14x1.5mm Suitable for most front wheel drive cars, vans & light trucks These front wheel bearing adapters replace wheel bearings while keeping the steering knuckle and strut assembly in tact on the vehicle, eliminating the need for front end alignment once the work is done Operation: Step.1 De termine if the vehicle has a trapped rotor or a floating rotor. Step.2 A ssemble the tool components, and press out the worn bearing. Step.3 Li ghtly lubricate the new bearing, and position it for installation with the tool components assembled. Press the bearing into the spindle assembly until it bottoms. Step.4 Fa sten the bearing retainer in place using the bearing retainer bolts. (On Neon vehicles, install the snap ring in the knuckle.) Step.5 A ssemble tool components. Lightly oil the hub assembly, and install the hub. Attention: The bearing installer must be assembled with the flat side toward the bearing and the small diameter pilot on the side away from the bearing. Step.6 As semble the remaining vehicle components that were removed for bearing replacement: (1)lower ball joint to steering knuckle assembly brake rotor. (2)disc brake caliper. (3)outer tie rod nut and tie rod. (4)axle nut. (5)front tires. Everything needed for the job is included, providing the most effective removal and installation of wheel bearings. No hammering to remove and install the bearing. Avoids damaging the hub, bearing or other parts of the car.
